The Square in Front of the Banquet Hall of Army (Building “D”)

The panorama begins with a view looking west onto a gate building. East of it on the left side we see the Banquet Hall’s fore hall with Lamasus guarding it. On the east side it is joined by the 6 m lower lying residence or administration area. In the north, the wall of the inner courtyard of the Gate of Kings makes the boundary. Lastly, one sees the gate building towards the Hadish forecourt in the west again.
