One of our long-time dreams has been to start with the virtual reconstruction of the southern area of Persepolis terrace. Unlike the terrace itself there has never been an attempt to provide a reconstruction for this area. We are very pleased to undertake the first attempt ever to reconstruct the structures of this area. The first structure to which we have directed our attention is the so- called Structure E. It is not only the most significant Building in that area but also one of the best preserved. The remains of its walls and the size of its column bases allow the reconstruction of its plan and the determination of the height of the building. We owe the successful reconstruction of structure E to our thorough knowledge of the reconstruction of Persepolis terrace and complete understanding of Friedrich Krefter's work. The realization of this work was possible by the financial support of Mr. Reza Saremi, who also generously responded to our call for financial support. We want to take this opportunity to encourage all lovers of ancient history, companies, educational institutions and philanthropists to join our supporters. Together with your patronage, we can continue to educate our children and the world about the Iranian legacy.
