The
Apadana Northern Courtyard
The
Apadana Courtyard is enclosed from an 11 m high wall on the east side and the
terrace wall on the west. The first image of the panorama looks to the Apadana.
On the right side we can see the northern façade of Apadana. To the left
shows the northeast corner of the Apadana with both bases decorated in relief
and also the north and east fore halls. The total height of the Apadana is 25
m and the sides are 112 m long. The Gate of Kings (Tripylon) cuts of the square
on the left side of the Apadana. Connected to that, we see the west wall of
the Throne Hall Building. Back to the initial picture, right of the Apadana
the northern pavilion, the west terrace wall, the Gate of all Nations and the
northern wall.
